Votrys Gift boxes and winerack
"A series of boxes that contain one, two and three wine bottles each. Each box can accept two different sizes/forms of bottles of the same capacity. The three sizes are either combined together or separately and by stacking them a wine-rack is formed. Even a big wine-rack could be produced in this way. The shape of the box was chosen because it is sympathetic to the shape of the bottle and it also looks like a grape from one side when stack. The box has a handle and can be carried like a bag without the need for additional packaging. The use of Oak plywood as the main material was chosen because it makes references to the Oak barrels the wine matures in. The client logo appears on the box and on a label on the handle which also explains the concept and the way to reuse the box."

Merula
"70 kilometers outside the city of Barcelona is Alt Penedes, a region long renowned for its Catalan wines. In the village of Torrelles de Foix is a plot of grape-growing land known as Terrer de Sapera. From this land comes the new wine on the block, a merlot called Merula. The name Merula translates to blackbird in Latin—mirlo, also the source of the name of the merlot grape, whose deep wines are said to resemble the color of blackbird feathers. We designed the label, capsule, and a six-bottle case for Merula. As it’s a new winery producing a grape not typical in Alt Penedes, we opted for a non-traditional approach. Building on the name Merula, we worked with illustrator Miguel Ordoñez to create friendly blackbird."

La Maison Fontaine
"Early in 2009, Design Friendship were approached by Metropolitan Spirits and Pretty Green to help create a new spirit brand.
Twelve months on and we'd like to introduce La Maison Fontaine - an ultra premium artisan absinthe. Handcrafted amongst the beautiful Jura Mountains in Pontarlier France - a place renowned for its absinthe history. Distilled in the oldest absinthe stills in the world, using the finest ingredients and locally grown natural herbs, including Pontarlier Grande Absinthe.
The challenge was to create a brand identity that reflected the strong traditions of absinthe and the Pontarlier region, whilst positioning the aesthetic towards a more luxurious and contemporary style."

Sugarillos One spoonful of sugar
"This work is a conscious attempt to literally interpret the pack content: 'One spoonful of sugar' - visually and verbally stated. Straightforward and simple, the pack design obviously invites to a more decorative daily cupper."

Prokrin
Mission: The image of Prokrin’s products was poorly differentiated and obsolete compared to its main competitors. This meant poor shelf impact. A restyling of the pack and logotype was necessary to improve visibility and memorability and to make the Brand more appealing. The aim was to clearly reaffirm the differentiating values of Prokrin: quality and price, at the same time as adding new attributes in line with young, fashion-conscious consumers.

Resolution
"This is a environmentally oriented and refillable water bottle with flavor refills. By screwing on the small flavour caps to the bottom of the bottle a sharp knife breaks the seal, which lets the flavour out and mixes it with the water. The idea is to make people carry one bottle around and use it over time instead of buying new plastic ones, for a one time use."
