"Istanbul is the only metropolis that is located on two continents, Europe and Asia. [...] The design of this work also combines tradition and modernity. “Istanbul” is a series of four different sized glasses with coasters for the traditional Turkish drinks tea, raki, yoghurt and water. All four are modelled on the characteristic tea glass with its slim waistline."
