Higgidy Pies


"Camilla Stephens is passionate about pies. She makes really yummy hand-made pies with high-quality ingredients. Uncommon pies, in fact. We loved her pies too and saw the opportunity to open up a market appealing less to your hungry man in a van and more to a discerning female audience. 'Too nice for the price' someone called them - probably with a big mouthful of pie..."

Space NK Men


"Space.NK.Men is a sub-brand of Space.NK, a leading luxury beauty retailer offering high quality products from a broad range of innovative international brands. Bibliothèque were responsible for providing an identity and packaging concept for a new Space.NK.Men store in Soho, London.

The design solution is intentionally minimal. Graph paper provides a technical visual language, suggesting a functional and practical grooming product appropriate to male consumers. The graph paper grid is applied across all touch points – from packaging and stationery to bags and
in-store displays. The incremental nature of the concept was ideal for presentation purposes, allowing staff to accurately position and caption products."

La Maison Fontaine


"Early in 2009, Design Friendship were approached by Metropolitan Spirits and Pretty Green to help create a new spirit brand.

Twelve months on and we'd like to introduce La Maison Fontaine - an ultra premium artisan absinthe. Handcrafted amongst the beautiful Jura Mountains in Pontarlier France - a place renowned for its absinthe history. Distilled in the oldest absinthe stills in the world, using the finest ingredients and locally grown natural herbs, including Pontarlier Grande Absinthe.

The challenge was to create a brand identity that reflected the strong traditions of absinthe and the Pontarlier region, whilst positioning the aesthetic towards a more luxurious and contemporary style."

Jamie Oliver



"Pearlfisher has redesigned the complete Jamie Oliver retail masterbrand range creating new identities for both the mainstream and specialists markets. The redesigned product ranges include food, cook and kitchenware, crockery, outdoor entertaining and gifting.

Guy Mottershead Executive Director Fresh Retail Ventures Limited commented, “The range has grown at a phenomenal rate and we needed to update the design in line with this. It’s been great for Jamie himself to be so hands-on with the product and packaging development and for us all to once again work with the team at Pearlfisher to bring the spirit of the brand to life.”

Pearlfisher Creative Director Natalie Chung, said, “The brand captures the character of Jamie Oliver which is real, playful and imaginative and this is reflected in the new ‘Keep it simple’ strapline for the mass retailers and the ‘Get Inspired’ strapline for the department stores and independent cookshops.

The new design reflects the evolution of the brand and the strength and stature of the Jamie Oliver personality with a change to the tone of voice used in pack copy and the introduction of a new brand marque.”

The new look Jamie Oliver brand will be available from April in the UK and International markets."

Scratch

"Scratch is a small food company making it easier for busy Londoners to cook from… scratch. Scratch make fresh meal kits. A box of all the fresh, uncooked ingredients – chopped, washed and weighed – and instructions to cook your meal from scratch. The meals are for one and cook in around 20 minutes with one or two pans. Many nights resorting to microwave meals, left over ingredients after cooking and spaghetti bolognese week on week brought about the concept of a fresh meal kit, so you can cook a healthy meal in the time in take's for a pizza to be delivered. Our current menu is a Vegetable red thai curry, a Moroccan chicken tagine,  a Crayfish, tomato and feta pasta and Chicken and chorizo Jambalaya. All the ingredients are sourced locally and the meals are prepared by hand.

The packaging design features a transparent tray made from RPET, which acts as a window for all the fresh ingredients. Also features a Kraft sleeve around the tray with a clear brand identity, product information and the instructions on the reverse. "

What On Earth


"We designed a new packaging concept for the organic food producer "What on Earth". The new packaging uses linocut illustrations that can be arrangement in different ways. It was important not to use computer generated but hand made images that relates to the hand-made and organic aspect of their products. The cake boxes are the first new design in a range; other products packaged in boxes, tins and wrappers will follow later."

Pip new organic juice


Identica has been appointed by Booost Trading to create and launch their new range of fresh organic juices called ‘Pip’.

The packaging created by Identica has been developed to represent a fresh, honest approach for the premium 100% fruit blends. The range consists of organic juices bottled into a 1 litre offering and launches with three vitamin packed flavours; Cloudy Apple, Cloudy Apple with Cherry and Cloudy Apple with Mango.
