Ampro Wine

"Our gift for our clients is a bottle of wine. The concept was to make the wine bottle our female messenger that sends the client our best wishes and also to make the cilent smile. The solution for the funny part of the gift was to make the label go down to see what's behind: Everybody is sure to see some breast, but, instead of breasts they find two new born baby. The title of this work is HOt HOt HOt(instead of Santa's HO HO HO)"

Vinkara

"Utilizing the name of the brand 'Vinkara' ("Vin", meaning: vine or wine – and "Kara", meaning land), the bottle design made use of traditional Turkish lace patterns to create vines that conformed to silhouettes of classical Turkish architecture."

Late autumn in Spain’s Alt Penedes, in the hills outside of Barcelona. The annual harvest that yields the area’s dry red and white wines has past weeks before. Yet there are still white grapes on the vine. They’re beyond ripe. Morning mists blow in off the sea. A fungus forms on the grapes. It begins to suck the moisture out of the fruit. The grapes appear to be decaying. For the DG Viticultors vineyard and winery, everything is going exactly as they’d hoped.

Votrys Gift boxes and winerack

"A series of boxes that contain one, two and three wine bottles each. Each box can accept two different sizes/forms of bottles of the same capacity. The three sizes are either combined together or separately and by stacking them a wine-rack is formed. Even a big wine-rack could be produced in this way. The shape of the box was chosen because it is sympathetic to the shape of the bottle and it also looks like a grape from one side when stack. The box has a handle and can be carried like a bag without the need for additional packaging. The use of Oak plywood as the main material was chosen because it makes references to the Oak barrels the wine matures in. The client logo appears on the box and on a label on the handle which also explains the concept and the way to reuse the box."

Merula

"70 kilometers outside the city of Barcelona is Alt Penedes, a region long renowned for its Catalan wines. In the village of Torrelles de Foix is a plot of grape-growing land known as Terrer de Sapera. From this land comes the new wine on the block, a merlot called Merula. The name Merula translates to blackbird in Latin—mirlo, also the source of the name of the merlot grape, whose deep wines are said to resemble the color of blackbird feathers.

We designed the label, capsule, and a six-bottle case for Merula. As it’s a new winery producing a grape not typical in Alt Penedes, we opted for a non-traditional approach. Building on the name Merula, we worked with illustrator Miguel Ordoñez to create friendly blackbird."

Seriously Pink

"Seriously Pink is the first pink coloured liqueur to be made in Australia. Like an artist mixing paint, for the winemaker, achieving the right colour was just as important as the end result. Its first release completely sold out in just one month. "

Byo

"The aim was to create a unique gift to give our clients at Christmas and to act as a new business introduction. It needed to remind them of who we are and the long hours that we put into our work. It needed to feature all of our staff, reflect our creativity and sense of humor. The print run was 5000 labels.

We obtained high quality cleanskin wines and created our own labels. Each label was based on one staff member. It included a number of facial features and the client is encouraged to BYO - Build Their Own. The wine and the label is the perfect substitute for when the real thing cannot be there."

Matsu

Moruba has created the branding and packaging for Matsu, an organic winery from the Toro D.O.

Matsu is a modern a project for sustainable viticulture that brings together a unique collection of high expression wines.

The solution adopted is faithful to Matsu's philosophy, his image has been stripped from all sorts of tricks to link directly with nature and with the people who cares about it. Thus, the Matsu's wine triology, ‘El Pícaro’, ‘El Recio’ and ‘El Viejo’ are represented by a portraits series of three generations that devote their lives to the field. Each one personality's embodies the characteristics of the wine that gets its name.

The renowned photographers, Bèla Adler and Salvador Fresneda, have been chosen by Moruba for the portraits realisation that brings life to the characters of Matsu.
