Northern Spring Water
"This is a project that began as a joke with my parents while having a drink on a boat on the lake on a hot summer evening. I told them that I wanted to someday/very soon own my own company and do all the design and branding for it. They decided as a joke that I should start a spring water company taken from the cabin. I said actually... That's not a bad idea. The rest remains to be accomplished beyond the branding. Hopefully in a few more weeks I will show the fam. Haha! Things are coming along."

Resolution
"This is a environmentally oriented and refillable water bottle with flavor refills. By screwing on the small flavour caps to the bottom of the bottle a sharp knife breaks the seal, which lets the flavour out and mixes it with the water. The idea is to make people carry one bottle around and use it over time instead of buying new plastic ones, for a one time use."

Boxed Water
“What is this?” you ask. “Bottled water in a box?” Nope. It’s boxed water, and it’s brilliant! With 90% of the container coming from renewable resources and 20% of their profits reinvested in clean water and sustainable forestation initiatives, it seems like they’re living up to their claim). Boxed Water is a much needed breath of fresh air in a world littered with plastic bottles saying the same thing the same way (i.e. Mountains and rivers on clear plastic containers that will exist long after we’ve turned to dust). A great piece of design. Did I mention they’re out of Grand Rapids. Could it get any better?

Salve Water
"I will not spend the money for myself. I will rather spend it in special business on a no-profit-no-loss policy." – Muhammad Yunus
The quote from Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, a Nobel Prize laureate and the developer of the term "social business", summarizes well the process which guided the concept behind Salve ("Save" in portuguese), a product conceived and branded by À La Carte Design and developed in joint with Acqua Incorp.
We're living in an era in which philanthropy, eco-consciousness and well-being are increasingly present in each aspect of our daily lives. And the "Generation G" – G for "generosity" –, as pointed out by Trendwatching website, moves and is moved by this urge in doing the good, not only for the self, but for everyone else.
And is precisely in this desire to do the good that "Salve" makes a call, turning the simple act of buying a bottle of water into a collaborative movement that helps to transform lives.
The identity follows this concept, of collectiveness, compounded by a mosaic of icons representing positive attitudes which, albeit small, form a greater picture; the importance of small acts that realize great things together.
And to kick off this project, Instituto Criar will be the first institution to be benefitted through the "Salve" water, with your donation. Take an action, take "Salve".

Lanjaron Water - innovative PET water bottle

An innovative packaging idea from one of my favourite packaging studio Tridimage. This project improves that there is an always new idea to catch it! Keep up the great work guys!
The new Lanjaron Mineral Water package design is the result of a strategic collaboration between two Argentine package design firms: Tridimage (structural design) and Grupo Berro The sleek, clear, grooveless shape of the bottle magnifies the Mulhacén mountain (Sierra Nevada, Spain) arising from its base, conveying the sense of purity and natural origin of the brand in a single powerful message. As this new design was aimed at competing in the premium arena, a high level of sophistication was an absolute must. Hence, the minimal label area maximizes the transparence of the bottle and the graphic design crowns this “waterdrop” with a clean, stylish, white and silver palette. This development implied stretching the possibilities of current PET blow-molding technology. (graphic design) to develop an exclusive mineral water bottle for the Spanish market. The premium 40cl PET bottle is targeted to the premium restaurant & hotel segment mostly populated by traditional glass bottles and graphics.
Special thanks to Hernán from the Tridimage
